Data Privacy Agreement

1. Introduction
This Data Privacy Agreement governs how JCC Business Solutions collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal information of users who access the App Sells platform and its associated financial calculator applications. This Agreement is issued in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
By accessing or using App Sells, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Agreement and consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described herein.
2. Data We Collect
When you register for or use App Sells, we collect the following personal information:
- Email address — used to verify your identity and grant access to the platform
- Password — stored in hashed or encrypted form; used for authentication only
- Payment status — whether your subscription is active, as recorded in our access management system
- Session tokens — temporary identifiers generated upon login to maintain your session securely
- Login timestamps — the date and time of each access event
- Browser storage data — saved locally on your device via localStorage when you enable the Remember Me feature
We do not collect government-issued identification numbers, financial account details, or sensitive personal information beyond what is listed above.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your personal information is used solely for the following purposes:
- Access control — to verify that you are an authorized user of the App Sells platform
- Session management — to keep you logged in during and between sessions when Remember Me is enabled
- Subscription management — to confirm that your account is in good standing before granting access
- Security monitoring — to detect unauthorized access or suspicious login activity
- Service communications — to notify you of changes to your access status or account
We do not use your personal data for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond those listed above without your explicit consent.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
JCC Business Solutions does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your data may be shared only in the following circumstances:
- With Google LLC — as our platform uses Google Sheets and Google Apps Script to manage the access list, your email address and payment status are stored within a Google-managed spreadsheet governed by Google's Privacy Policy
- As required by law — if disclosure is required by a Philippine court order, the National Privacy Commission, or other competent authority
- With your explicit consent — if you expressly authorize us to share specific data for a specific purpose
All third-party tools used (Google Workspace) maintain their own privacy and security certifications.
5. Data Retention
Your personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected:
- Email address and password: retained for the duration of your active subscription and deleted within 30 days of account termination upon written request
- Session tokens: automatically invalidated upon sign-out or subscription expiry
- Login timestamps: retained for up to 12 months for security audit purposes, then deleted
- Browser localStorage data: stored only on your own device and cleared automatically when you sign out
6. Your Rights Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012
As a data subject under Republic Act No. 10173, you have the following rights:
- Right to be informed — to know what personal data we collect and how it is used
- Right to access — to request a copy of your personal data held by JCC Business Solutions
- Right to rectification — to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Right to erasure — to request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal and contractual limitations
- Right to object — to object to the processing of your personal data for specific purposes
- Right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
- Right to lodge a complaint — to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (www.privacy.gov.ph) if you believe your rights have been violated

7. Security Measures
JCC Business Solutions takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:
- Passwords are never stored in plain text; they are managed through hashed storage within our access management system
- Access to the Google Sheet containing the user access list is restricted to authorized administrators only
- Session tokens are unique per login and invalidated upon sign-out or detected misuse
- The App Sells platform enforces token validation checks at regular intervals to detect unauthorized or concurrent access
- All data transmissions between your device and our servers occur over HTTPS
However, no system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours of discovery, in accordance with RA 10173.
8. Cookies and Local Storage
App Sells does not use traditional browser cookies. However, the platform uses the following browser storage mechanisms:
- sessionStorage — stores your login status for the duration of your current browser session; cleared automatically when you close the browser tab
- localStorage — used only when you enable the Remember Me feature; stores a session token and email address on your device so you remain logged in across browser sessions; this data is cleared when you sign out
You may clear localStorage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out of the app.

10. Amendments
JCC Business Solutions reserves the right to update or amend this Data Privacy Agreement at any time. Any changes will take effect upon publication of the revised Agreement within the App Sells platform. Continued use of the platform after any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
